About the Firm

03 — Counsel

Parisien Law PLLC is the practice of Michelle Parisien, Esq., admitted to the New York bar in 1989. Founded on the North Fork of Long Island and serving clients throughout New York City, Nassau, and Suffolk Counties, the firm offers careful, experience-driven representation in matters where the cost of getting it wrong is too high to accept.

Ms. Parisien began her career as an Assistant District Attorney in Manhattan, prosecuting cases in one of the busiest criminal court systems in the country. She later served within the New York State Unified Court System, where she gained a working understanding of how matters move — and how they stall — from the inside.

"Thirty-seven years of practice on both sides of the courtroom is not a credential. It is the foundation of how every case is read."

That dual perspective informs the firm's approach today: clear-eyed assessment of how the prosecution will build its case, what a court will and will not credit, and where the leverage lies. Whether the matter is a criminal charge or a firearms license application, the posture is the same — prepared, deliberate, and built around the client's actual interests.

Consultations are by appointment. The firm accepts a deliberately limited number of matters at any given time so that each receives direct attention from Ms. Parisien personally.
